Our dearest Anna died at The Mater Hospital in Sydney on the morning of February 1, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. There is an Anna-shaped hole in the world and our hearts that cannot be filled as she was truly one of a kind. She was extraordinarily brave, fearless, a little bit crazy, but always generous, giving so many of us at Bazian opportunities to grow and develop both personally and professionally. For this, and for her kind heart, we give thanks. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Richard Smith and Muir Gray have written a lovely obituary about Anna - the red-headed hurricane - in the BMJ here.
And Anna's final blogs for the BMJ can be read here.
Travel in peace Anna.
