EIU breakfast events in August and September

August 13th 2014

Following the publication of a new white paper, Bazian CEO and The Economist Intelligence Unit Healthcare MD, Dr Vivek Muthu, will be involved in hosting a series of free-to-attend healthcare events in Asia and the United States in August and September.

The three meetings, which will take the form of breakfast meetings featuring a presentation and Q&A followed by an opportunity to meet other attendees, will focus on the development of healthcare markets in Asia. The first, taking place in Shanghai on August 28th, will look at healthcare opportunities in China's provinces. The second event, taking place in Singapore on September 2nd, will focus on the push towards value-based healthcare across Asia; while the third, taking place in Boston on September 18th, will explore The EIU's moves to identify which countries have the potential to follow in the success of China's healthcare market.

Dr Muthu will be hosting the breakfast meeting in Singapore, and co-hosting the event in Boston with Ivy Teh, the managing director of another EIU Healthcare company, Clearstate.

Meanwhile, The EIU Healthcare have just published a new white paper, Value-based healthcare: strategies for medtech. The paper, the third in an ongoing series investigating value-based healthcare, can be found here:
